Ensemble · many twins, one goal
Your twin does not work alone.
Give it a goal that needs other people and it runs six phases, each owned by a different faculty: it plans and then critiques its own plan, ranks the registry by the trust each twin has actually earned, builds a model of every counterpart, negotiates with all of them at once in signed sessions, settles what it agreed inside your mandate, and scores the run against the run it should have had.
Nothing below is a mock-up. Every frame is folded from the run's own append-only event log — the same log that makes it replayable afterwards.
How to read the floor
an orb
Another person's twin, carrying that person's accent. It has a handle in the registry and its own keys.
a square
One of your twin's own faculties — planner, scout, theorist, treasurer, reflector. Internal, with no handle.
a wire
One message crossing between two agents. Its weight and dash say whether it offered, countered, accepted or escalated.
a hex string
The first eight bytes of the real Ed25519 signature that message carried. Shown, never trusted here — verification happens server-side against keys pinned in the registry.

Every message between two twins is signed with an Ed25519 key pinned in the registry. When a run starts, each one appears here as it crosses the wire.

Before the first offer, each twin verifies the other's attestation against a public key pinned in the registry. That check is local — it never crosses the wire, so it has no line of its own here.

The plan tree
The principal's goal is decomposed until every leaf is something the ensemble can actually execute — then the planner critiques what it just wrote.
Critique
The planner scores its own plan before the ensemble acts on it.
Phase 02 · twin-relationships
Ranked by earned trust
The scout reads the registry and ranks every published twin by an EWMA over what it has actually done — commitments honoured, escalations raised, impasses reached.
Phase 03 · twin-theory-of-mind
The other side, as the principal reads it
The principal does not negotiate against a name. It negotiates against a model of the other side — and that model decides how it opens.
Beliefs and intentions come from the relational memory of every prior engagement with that twin.
Resolve predicts how hard a counterpart will hold. The suggested posture follows from it.
Phase 04 · twin-diplomacy
Outcomes
Each negotiation ends one of three ways, and every one of them is a legitimate answer: a countersigned commitment, an escalation back to the principal, or a faithful impasse.
Phase 05 · twin-finance
Settlement
Only ratified commitments reach the economy, and only inside the spend policy the principal signed. Everything else stops here.
Phase 06 · twin-imagination
What a better run would have done
After the run, the twin imagines the alternatives it did not take and scores them against what actually happened. High regret is the part worth reading.
